STAY YOUNG

You’re only as young as you feel, they say
It’s true, I’ve never grown up
While others go round
With their jowls hanging down
I’m still wagging my tail like a pup.

On paper your years could be many, maybe
So what, I’m way over forty
But I don’t stay in bed
Or act like I’m half dead
In fact sometimes I can get quite naughty.

It’s fun to be young and lively, OK
It’s good to let your hair down
Get the breeze in your sails
Wag your puppy dog tails
Spend some money and go paint the town.

I know there are those who will disagree
And say you should act your age
There are some who will say
You get older each day
And that love’s just a young person’s stage

Well I enjoy life, and love, it’s a fact
I get up and give them a dance
From eighteen to eighty
I’m telling you matey
You can’t help but feel young with romance.
